Crispy Baked Chicken Thighs

Simple Crispy Baked Chicken thighs with dry seasonings.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 chicken thighs bone-in, skin on
  • 1.5 tsp coarse salt/kosher salt
  • 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsps olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 475 degrees Fahrenheit/246 degrees Celsius
  • Trim excess fat off the thighs. Wash the thighs and pat dry. Place chicken thighs on baking sheet.
  • Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika in a bowl. Rub seasoning under skin, turn over chicken and rub seasoning on the other side. Rub seasoning on the skin. Drizzle a little olive oil on the skin and rub to coat.
  • Bake chicken for 20 minutes at 475 degrees Fahrenheit/246 degrees Celsius. Then, turn temperature down to 425 degrees Fahrenheit/218 degrees Celsius and cook for another 15 to 20 minutes or until the internal temperature of meat is 165 degrees Fahrenheit/74 degrees Celsius and the skin is crisp.
