Crispy Baked Chicken Thighs
Simple Crispy Baked Chicken thighs with dry seasonings.
Ingredients
- 6 chicken thighs bone-in, skin on
- 1.5 tsp coarse salt/kosher salt
- 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsps olive oil
Instructions
- Heat oven to 475 degrees Fahrenheit/246 degrees Celsius
- Trim excess fat off the thighs. Wash the thighs and pat dry. Place chicken thighs on baking sheet.
- Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika in a bowl. Rub seasoning under skin, turn over chicken and rub seasoning on the other side. Rub seasoning on the skin. Drizzle a little olive oil on the skin and rub to coat.
- Bake chicken for 20 minutes at 475 degrees Fahrenheit/246 degrees Celsius. Then, turn temperature down to 425 degrees Fahrenheit/218 degrees Celsius and cook for another 15 to 20 minutes or until the internal temperature of meat is 165 degrees Fahrenheit/74 degrees Celsius and the skin is crisp.
I don’t usually care for chicken thighs, but, I found them very good using this recipe.
