Garlic Broccoli with Lemon and Chili

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1lb/450g broccoli cut up into bite size pieces
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves peeled
  • 1/8 tsp red chili flakes
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Grate the peeled garlic cloves. Zest and juice the lemon.
  • Heat up a wide pan and add olive oil. When the oil is hot, add the broccoli and 1/2 tsp salt. Stir and cook for a minute. Move the broccoli to the sides of the pan and make space in the center. Put the butter in and let it melt. Add the grated garlic and lemon zest to the center of the pan and mix with the butter. Cook for a minute. Add the chili flakes and mix in the broccoli. Cook for 2 or 3 minutes until the broccoli is tender. Pour in the lemon juice. Mix well, taste and add more salt, lemon juice, chili flakes if you like.
