How to Make Oatmeal Taste Good

Delicious and healthy Oatmeal with Apples, Dates, Nuts and Cinnamon.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2cup/50g whole rolled oats
  • 1cup/250ml water
  • 1 small apple peeled and chopped into small chunks
  • 1 pinch Coarse Salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 3 dates substitute 2 tbsp raisins
  • 3 tbsp toasted pecans chopped, sub walnuts or sliced almonds

Instructions
 

  • Boil water and add oats. Stir and cook for 4 minutes. Add chopped apples, salt and cinnamon. Stir, cover and cook for 2 minutes. Add more water if necessary. When apples are starting to get soft, lower heat and add brown sugar and dates. Stir and add pecans. Serve immediately.
