Juicy Turkey Burgers
Juiciest and Simplest Turkey Burgers you'll ever make
Ingredients
- 1lb/455g Ground Turkey with 10% fat
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 3/4 tsp garlic powder
- 2oz/56g yellow onion grated
- 1/4 cup parsley chopped
For Cooking
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions
- Place turkey on a plate. Add all ingredients (except oil) on top and mix thoroughly. Divide into 4 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball.
- Heat up a 12 inch pan and pour 2 tbsp oil just to coat the bottom of the pan. When the pan is hot, take each ball and flatten on your palm, then make a small indent in the middle. Place burgers in hot pan. Cook on medium heat for 4 minutes or until bottom is golden brown. Flip and cook for 2 minutes. Turn heat to medium low, cover and cook for 2 minutes. Uncover, turn off heat and let sit for 2 minutes before serving. The middle of the burger will be raised and the hot juices need to settle before you bite into it.
- For cheese lovers, place cheese slices on top of burger during the last minute of cooking so it melts. Serve burgers with lettuce, tomato, sliced red onion and ketchup or spicy barbecue sauce.
- Turkey is cooked at 165 F or 74 C
