Heat up enough oil to fry the fritters. In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tbsp ground cinnamon to coat the cooked fritters. In a bowl, mix all purpose flour with baking powder, 1/4 tsp salt and 2 tbsp sugar, To a measuring cup, add milk, egg and 1 tbsp vegetable oil. Beat well. Pour this wet mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well.
