- 8oz/225g unsalted butter softened
- 7oz/200g dark brown sugar 1 cup
- 3.5oz/100g White Sugar 1/2 cup
- 2 large Eggs room temperature
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 10oz/285g All Purpose Flour 2 cups
- 3/4 tsp Coarse Salt
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 8oz/225g semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3oz/85g walnuts chopped small

Instructions
- Heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit or 190 degrees Celsius.
- Whisk together flour, salt and baking soda.
- Place soft butter in a bowl and cream with a hand mixer or wooden spoon. Add white sugar, brown sugar and mix well. Add eggs one at a time mixing in between. Add vanilla extract and stir. Add flour mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
- Use an ice cream scoop or tablespoon to scoop out dough onto cookie sheet. Bake in heated oven for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are golden. Place sheet on cooling rack for 2 minutes. Remove cookies from sheet and place on cooling rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
- *****Make sure to cool and wipe baking sheet in between making batches of cookies.
- Dough can be chilled for a few hours and then baked. You will get a thicker cookie that doesn't spread as much. Dough can also be frozen for several months.
