Tuna Pasta Salad Recipe

Creamy Tuna Pasta Salad!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2lb/8oz/225g pasta-macaroni or another type of pasta
  • 2 cans, 5oz each chunk white tuna total 10oz/285g
  • 6oz/170g mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp brown mustard
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1/4 cup scallions/spring onion
  • 3 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 1/2 cup Green peas optional

Instructions
 

  • Boil water to cook pasta. When the water comes to a full boil, add 1 tablespoon coarse salt and pasta. Stir and cook until tender. Approximately 8 minutes for macaroni. If using frozen green peas, add to pasta during the last minute of cooking and drain together.
  • While pasta is cooking, drain 2 cans of tuna and place in a bowl. Add 1 tbsp lemon juice and mix well. Chop celery into small dice, chop parsley and mince scallions.
  • Drain pasta well and add to large bowl. Let cool for a few minutes. Add 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp ground black pepper. Mix well. Add tuna, celery, scallions, green peas, parsley, mustard and mayonnaise. Mix well. Taste and add more salt or pepper if necessary. If you like heat, add a little hot sauce. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
