Creamy Butter Potatoes
Creamy Potatoes with Butter and Thyme
Ingredients
- 1.5 lb/680g/24oz small potatoes
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
- Place potatoes in a pot and cover with water. Cover pot and bring to a boil. Stir and leave cover halfway open. Cook until tender, 10-15 minutes. Stir halfway through cooking. Drain when tender.
- To the same, now empty pot, add butter, thyme, salt and pepper. Add potatoes and mix well. Taste and adjust salt and pepper. Heat on low for a minute or two. Serve as is or smash potatoes into butter.
