  1. Heat up rice cooker and pour in 2 tbsps of ghee. Add cumin seeds. Stir and cook for a minute. Add chopped onion, ginger and garlic. Sautee until soft. If you want heat, add 1 green chile chopped.
  2. Add turmeric and sautee 30 seconds. Add carrots, spinach, salt. Stir, cover and cook for 3 mins. Add rice and mix well. Add water, cover and cook for 20 mins or until done according to your rice cooker. Open lid, give it a mix and serve hot.
